Europe -China Commercial Union (ECCU) is registered in Paris and is jointly presided over by Mr. Jacques SANTER (the former President of the European Commission, former Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Member of Italian banking association presidium, President of Italian Bankers Association) and Mr. Jean – Luc DEHAENE (the former Prime Minister of Belgium, Vice-Chairman of the EU Constitutional Commission. ECCU is an authoritative corporative organization aimed at promoting communion and cooperation between Europe and China in economy, trade, science, technology, culture, and education. ECCU has set up representative offices in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wenzhou.

 

Established within the mainstream EU-China political and trade societies we have built a platform for EU-China economic trade that aims at promoting comprehensive cooperation and consolidating long-term partnerships between the EU and China. 

We have set up the most authoritative international cooperation and exchange platform between the EU and China. Cooperative partnership with financial institutions, the IMF, business associations, transnational companies, media, experts, and politicians from France, Germany, Britain, Italy and China and been formed. Our focus is to assist EU member states and Chinese cities, provinces, and autonomous regions in concluding partnerships and to organize EU-China governmental and non-governmental bilateral exchanges. We also organize training, tours, and high-level investment forums in order to provide informed investment decisions on high level bilateral investment projects. In addition, we are involved in EU-China bilateral research projects entrusted by government, consultation and demonstration of bilateral investments in a variety of industries. 

The dissemination and exposition of news and trends in EU-China bilateral economy and trade relations is achieved through our “EU – China Economic and Trade Review” our monthly magazine in English and Chinese versions.
