GIS Events began in Shanghai in the year 2000 as an international event organiser. Owned and operated by a professional Australian trained team, with more than 15 years of experience in research, program design, and conference planning, the GIS team works to bring high level Chinese officials and their organisations together with leading international companies.  Through our GIS Event Summits, Congresses, Forums and Expos we enable access to key decision makers of particular market sectors for networking and marketing opportunities.

From 2007 GIS Events has been working closely with Chinese government associations for both the airline and the airport sectors – the China Air Transport Association (CATA) and the China Civil Airports Association (CCAA), both of which come under the central government civil aviation authority (CAAC).  Since then GIS Events has been the exclusive company of choice for the professional organising of CATA and CCA international conferences, exhibitions, summits and other training programs.
