Kaohsiung Exhibition Center (KEC), the latest multi-functional venue in Taiwan, was designed on the waterfront by an international, pro-environment team of architects. This “green” structure is based upon a lightweight steel frame under a bold wavy mantle of glass panels that symbolizes a billowing sail on a maiden seaward voyage. The venue enables the maximum creativity for any type of events: indoors, outdoors as well as by the water.

KEC boasts two main halls separated by a central boulevard and an outdoor exhibition area. Both the South and North Halls are each divisible into two sections which adds flexibility for all sizes of exhibitions and events. Space on the ground floor extends seamlessly from indoors to outdoors where the waterfront plaza onto Kaohsiung Harbor can house additional outdoor booths (1,500 units in total).

Conference rooms of various sizes are suited for every type of event. From international congresses, technical seminars, and corporate meetings, to year-end banquets, wedding receptions or other functions.

The column-free South Hall is 27 meters high and even the North Hall has ceiling clearance of 12 meters, so booth design is not restricted.
Floors loads of 5 tons allow even for heavy-machinery shows.
Permanently installed LED signage at high-visibility points brings a flexible media for show-specific notifications and advertising.
