About the trade fair in China:

Aquatech China is the largest water technology show in China and serves as a platform where market leaders and potential buyers from around the world gather under one roof to exchange know-how and expertise on new technologies and best practices.

New this year was the start of Aquatech bringing together the worlds of water technology and water management, aiming to present integrated solutions and a holistic approach to the water challenges.

The exhibition programme provides an extensive overview of the latest developments in the fields of water treatment, transport and storage, point of use, process control technology & process automation, research & consultancy and water utilities. Aquatech China is part of the Aquatech Global Events, which also include Aquatech Amsterdam, Aquatech India and WQA Aquatech USA.

Aquatech China 2011: a great success

The fourth edition of Aquatech China was a great success and broke all records. An impressive amount of 761 exhibitors and 24,612 visitors from 79 countries were brought together in the Shanghai Exhibition Center, which was the centre of the water world in South East Asia from June 1 to 3, 2011.

VISITOR'S PROFILE:

Visitors of Aquatech China 2011 were able to benefit from the Innovation Display Zone, Waste Water Treatment Zones, AquaStages,

educational programmes, specialised industry and international network zones and lots of business opportunities.

The exhibition drew a great number of final decision makers & advisers (77%). The majority of the visitors (90%) intend to visit the next edition in 2012. The fourth edition of Aquatech China has strengthened it’s position as the largest and most important water technology show in South East Asia.

EXHIBITOR'S PROFILE:

A total of 761 exhibitors from over 31 different countries and regions on a floor space of 32,000 sq.m. displayed their latest water treatment products & technologies. 98% of the exhibitors were (very) satisfied with their participation. Exhibitors were able to have face-to-face contact with a striking number of more than 24,500 visitors. 97% of the exhibitors would recommend others to exhibit at Aquatech China 2012.

HISTORY

CHC is a professional show organizer (PEO) based in Shanghai China, involved in dozens of international and domestic brand projects with over 10 years experience. Its core activities are the organization of leading industrial trade shows in China and the representation of international trade shows.

CHC consultancy services Ltd was a company set up over ten years ago by Dutch entrepreneurs Nic Pannekeet and Gijsbert de Bruin. Amsterdam RAI has been one of CHC's early customers and started to use CHC services (market research and partner search) as soon as 1999. Over the years the relationship evolved and intensified between the two companies and as of 2003 CHC was appointed the sole representative and trade show agent for all of RAI's international trade shows in the greater China area.

Due to the successful cooperation, the RAI and CHC expanded their scope of activities. CHC became the local PEO for the ISSA/Interclean China and the project partner of the Aquatech China show. In order to enable this growth, CHC established a new structure in 2006 under the name of CHC Expo Services Ltd which became an independent conference and trade show organizer.

The company has since then expanded rapidly, is involved in multiple projects and currently employs 25+ professionals from the exhibition industry.

ORGANIZATION

The organization of CHC Expo consists of two main departments, the department responsible for organization of Chinese conferences and tradeshows and a department responsible for representation of international trade shows, conferences and events.
