Tirecon Asia 2012 is convened on April 18-19 at Hotel Pullman Shanghai Skyway in Shanghai, China, aiming at discussing the latest policies and standards, advanced green technology and finding win-win cooperation for sustainable development in tire industry. 

Tire can account for 20 % to 30 % of the fuel consumption of vehicles, green & intelligent may therefore contribute significantly potential of reduction of CO2 emissions. EU’s tire Labeling Regulation (EU Regulation 1222/2009), LRRT & TPMS requirements; NHTSA's TPMS FMVSS No. 138 and the Tire Fuel Efficiency Consumer Information Program; Japan’s tire labeling system; Korea's TPMS requirement in the KMVSS and China’s TPMS Standards, all these legislations are intended to require tire manufacturers should pay more attention to product quality and high performance, reduce carbon emission, promote fuel efficiency and improve road safety.

As China’s premier tire industry conference, Tirecon Asia 2012 is expected to invite more than 30 distinguished speakers from the leading companies & organizations by Europe, America, China, India and other countries around the world, who will present the new prospects of global tire markets, the updated regulations and the latest tire technologies. Tirecon Asia 2012 also gains great support from worldwide institutes’, including The Indian Tyre Technical Advisory Committee (ITTAC), Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau(TRIB) and so on.
