Auto China 2014

(a.k.a 2014 Beijing Auto Show)

Having establishment in 1990, Auto China is now the dominant auto show in China with positive impact to the global automotive and exhibition industry. It plays an active role in strengthening the exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and foreign automotive circles and in enhancing the development of the automotive industry of China. In 2014, Auto China 2014, the 13th Beijing International Automobile Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the 2014 Beijing auto show) will be held again from April 21, 2014 to 29 at Beijing China International Exhibition Center Exhibition Hall.

2014 Beijing auto show is held by the China Machinery Industry Federation, China International Trade Promotion Committee, jointly sponsored by China National Machinery Industry Corporation, China Automobile Industry Association, China International Trade Promotion Committee of automobile industry branch, China Automobile Industry International Cooperation Corporation, CIEC-China International Center Group Co, China Society of automotive engineering contractors.

"The car make the future better" is the 2014 Beijing auto show's theme. According to the introduction, the 2014 Beijing auto show will use the Beijing China International Exhibition Center Exhibition Hall of the new, old 16 indoor exhibition hall and outdoor temporary exhibition. In the exhibition schedule, according to the actual situation in the recent Beijing motor show, Beijing motor show, organizers decided to media from the previous two days to one day, time is in April 20, 2014, and the day of the exhibition time is prolonged to 8 points, in order to facilitate domestic and foreign news media coverage. Display in time for the April 21st ~ 29, which in April 21st, 22, as a professional audience day, April 23rd to 29 days for the public to visit japan. Compared with the previous Beijing auto show, this arrangement has increased day public visit, make the community audience can have more abundant exhibition time.

China Association of Automotive Manufacturers (CAAM) is an organization founded in Beijing in the May of 1987, with the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People's Republic of China.

It is a self-discipline and non-profit social organization formed based on the principle of equality and voluntariness, which consisting of enterprises and institutions as well as organizations engaged in production and management of automobiles (motorcycles),auto parts and vehicle-related industries founded within the boundaries of the People’s Republic of China. It has the qualifications of a legal social organization.

The member representative assembly is the highest authority of CAAM consisting of 1580 member units, for which the board of directors is instituted. As the standing body

of CAAM, the Secretariat General is established and formed under which there are 13 departments, 3 management-oriented committees, 22 product-oriented branches and one branch for other things.

Regarding the implementation of national principles and policies,safeguarding of the interest of the whole industry and the development of China automotive industry as his duty, China Association of Automotive Manufacturers (CAAM) aims at the reflection of aspiration and demand of the industry and the performance of mutual service for the government and the industry and gives full play to offering of service,reflection of demands, regulation of actions and establishment of platform to promote the sound and rapid development of the automotive industry in China,based on its main functions such as policy research, information service,self-discipline in the trade, international communication and exhibition service.
