2nd Annual China Digital Multiplex and Film-tech Expansion Summit 2013, organized by NOPPEN and aims at bringing together the Production and Distribution Companies, Cinema Investors and Operators, Government Officials, Cinema Circuit Companies and Entertainment Groups from China to hear prescriptive advice, strategic recommendations and to learn the best practice that they can take away and apply to their own projects, will take place in Beijing during Oct.17-18, 2013. 

In 2012, China's film market had a rapid growth where the annual total film box-office was more than 16.5 billion RMB, with in an increase of 28% compared to the same period last year. Number of screens has also increased from 9200 in 2011 to 13000 at present and has entered the age of “Ten Thousand" screens. The Chinese Mainland screen number was second only to the United States, becoming world's second largest film market. It is worth mentioning that in 2012, the number of customers reached 500 million.
