The 18th China Xiamen Machinery & Electronics Exhibition

CXMEE 2014

Jointly organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products, Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association, and Xiamen Municipal Government, the 18th China Xiamen Machinery & Electronics Exhibition (CXMEE 2014) will take place in Xiamen during April 12-15, 2014.

China Xiamen Machinery & Electronics Exhibition (CXMEE) is the largest machinery and electronics exhibition jointly organized by both sides across the Straits, Taiwan remained the largest source of overseas visitors to the CXMEE, with 2,566 people in attendance, reflecting the CXMEE’s attraction to the Taiwan business community. Countries and regions with a large presence at CXMEE included Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, the United States, Australia, and Hong Kong.

The 18th China Xiamen Machinery & Electronics Exhibition (CXMEE 2014) will provide an exhibition space of 80,000 square meters and 3,700 international standard booths. It will showcase mechanical equipment, food and package printing machine, moulds, tools and materials, apparatus, instruments, and industrial automation, logistics products, energy-saving lighting and panel display products.

I. Exhibition Agenda
April 8th ~10th 09:00-17:00
(1) Head of exhibitors register at: “Exhibitor Registration Counter” of Guest Registration Center, Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center (Right Side, Front Door, Hall C, Building I, or Right Side, Front Door, Hall L, Building Ⅱ, Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center);

(2) Receive the Exhibition Pass from the Exhibition Affairs Team and the Booth Setup and Dismantling Pass (deposit required) from Xiamen International Conference & Exhibition Center.
April 8th ~ 11th 08:30-17:00 Booth setup by exhibitors.
April 11th 12:00 Inspection of booth setup at all exhibition halls by the Exhibition Affairs Team.
April 11th 17:00 Closing of the exhibition center for security check.
April 12th 9:00 Opening ceremony.
April 12th ~15th Exhibition and business talks.
April 15th 15:00 Booth dismantling.

II. Exhibition Schedule
Opening Hours: 9:00a.m. ~ 5:00p.m (no break at noon)
Booth staff has to access the Exhibition Center from the east side door (near the sea) and get the booths prepared 30 minutes prior to the opening of the Exhibition Center, and to leave within 30 minutes after its closing each day.

In accordance with the types of industries, member manufacturers are divided into major categories including computer IT, communications, semiconductors, optoelectronics, consumer electronics, household electric appliances, heavy electric machinery, refrigeration & air-conditioning equipments, illumination devices, test and measuring instrument, electric wires and cables, electric devices & apparatus, electronic components, batteries, computer application software, on-line services and automotive electronics, etc. There were about 3,762 members in 2008 with a total of about 880,000 employees from the upper, mid and downstream operations. Not only that Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA) members have generated for Taiwan optimal export value, but it has also offered to Taiwan tremendous job opportunities.
