The 7th Yantai International Wine Exposition

The 7th Yantai International Wine Exposition, which is well known in Chinese wine business as one of the most important wine events in Yantai as well in China, will be held at Yantai International Exhibition Center, during July 5-7, 2013.

Yantai, as the birth-place of industrialized wine production in modern China, has the wine brewery history of over a century. Yantai contributes 30% of China’s total wine production. It was conferred the title “International Vine and Wine City” by the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV) in 1987, the only city in Asia that was awarded this honor.

The past 6 sessions of Yantai International Wine Exposition saw participation of around 400,000 visitors and 1,500 leading wineries and accessory companies from home and abroad. The successful holding of this event plays a vital role in strengthening the international exchange and cooperation in the sector of vine and wine. Given its remarkable contribution to the development of the industry and the spreading of the wine culture, Yantai International Wine Exposition was entitled one of the “30 Top Festival Events in China”.
