Tarsus Group Plc will hold Labelexpo 2015 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) from December 1 to December 4, 2015. The previous edition, Labelexpo 2013 attracted 21,416 visitors from 78 countries, who came to see over 270 exhibitors occupy more than 8,000sqm of space.

The greater Asian region has been one of the powerhouses behind the global growth of label materials and technology in recent years. China alone now accounts for 23% of the total global label demand.

In China, the package printing sector (including labels, flexibles and cartons) currently accounts for over 50% of all printing in the country and has experienced tremendous expansion over the past 10 years with a growing increase in production volumes.

China's accession to the World Trade Organisation and the country's opening to the outside world have also stimulated export trade and label usage. Goals for the Chinese government include improving the level of technical equipment in the printing industry, enhancing operation and management and enhancing global competitiveness.
