The 9th China CNC Machine Tool Fair 2016

CCMT 2016 - The 9th China CNC Machine Tool Fair 2016 is scheduled to be held during April 11-15, 2016 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), China.

With the rapid development of China' s economy, China has become the largest machine tool consumption country in the world for five consecutive years. Machine tool import ranked the first in the world while the production value was in the third position in 2006. In the year of 2006, China imported ablut USD7.24 billion machine tools with the increasing more than 11.5%.

With the theme "New change • to Future", The 8th China CNC Machine Tool Fair 2014 (CCMT 2014) covered the total exhibition space was up to 100,000 square meters, employing 7 halls of Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) and 5 temporary halls with 910 exhibitors from home, abroad and regions participating in the fair (abroad enterprises accounting for one third).

Established in March 1988, China Machine Tool & Tool Builders’ Association (hereinafter abbreviated to CMTBA) is a nationwide social organization with authorization of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of P.R.C, CMTBA has the legal person qualification of social organization.
CMTBA mainly consists of the manufacturing enterprises of China’s machine tool & tool industry, and organized voluntarily by the related enterprises or groups, science and technology research and design units, universities and organization. It is a nationwide industrial and not-for-profit organization, unrestricted by the regional, industrial jurisdiction and ownership.

With its permanent organization (headquarter) in Beijing, CMTBA has over 1500 members from the sectors of metal cutting machine tool, special purpose machinery, metal forming machinery, foundry machinery, woodworking machinery, measuring instrument, cutting tool, fixture, abrasive products, coated abrasive, super-hard material and its products, CNC system, digital readout unit, machine tool electric appliance, machine tool accessories and functional components, machine tool parts and its maintenance, and industrial robot, etc. CMTBA has set up 8 working committees according to their working tasks and 25 sub-associations according to their product categories.
