5th China Aerospace Manufacturing Summit 2014

5th China Aerospace Manufacturing Summit 2014, jointly organized by China Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Galleon (Shanghai) Consulting Co., Ltd., will be held during Nov. 5th-7th, 2014 in Shenyang, China.

It's estimated that China's civil aircraft market will have a strong demand rate in the next two decades, including 4631 trunk airliners and 726 regional aircrafts, which valued at $648.1 billion. By 2030, customer travel demand in China is expected to increase by 5%, civil aviation will become the main way for the public to travel. In the next 10 years, civil aircraft capacity will increase by 25%, so civil aircraft production will present two trends and challenges: the influence of the rise of new manufacturers and supply chain.

C919 in verification & testing process to ensure its first flight
•C919 will take its maiden flight at the end of 2015
•Main systems and materials have entered into the final testing period
•Electromechanics system as the most joint venture system in C919 project need more advanced manufacturing equipment and technical support to ensure the reliability of the final product.
 
MA700 started vendor selection in 2014
•The main systems for MA700 will be finalized in 2014
•The plan for constructing the aircraft assembly line will come as the next step.
• The local order for MA700 has reached over 300, which is expected to soar in the next coming years.
 
China and France 18 billion Euros contracts
•China has confirmed a $10 billion purchase of 70 Airbus aircraft orders, including 43 A320 & 27 A330. Most of the aircrafts will be manufacturing and assembly in Airbus Tianjin.
•Over the next 20 years, Airbus Helicopter will jointly with the AVICOPTER produces 1000 EC-175 / Z-15 helicopters (Medium-sized multi-purpose civil helicopters).
 
New Aircraft Production Line in China
•Airbus Tianjin Plant Expansion Agreement (Phase ii)
•Pilatus has decided to move part of the main models assembly workshop and production line to the China.
•It's said that Boeing plan to build assembly line in Nanjing city.
