Background of Ice Cream Industry

At present, ice cream per capita consumption level is about 1 kg in China, and there’s great gap with that of the United States and other developed countries with per capita annual consumption of 40 kilograms. With the national economic development and improvement the quality of people's lives in China, the ice cream will be the common consumable. The purpose of consumption of ice cream will change from summer cooling in the past into a habit of consumption regardless of the season. Guangdong Province, located in southern China, with hot weather all year round and nearly a hundred million of the resident and mobile population has a more mature market base, strong consumer power, and great demand for frozen food.

The China International Ice Cream Industry Exhibition (CICE) is one of the biggest events for ice cream industry. More than ten thousand domestic and overseas machinery production suppliers to cold food and ice cream raw material will be invited to the exhibition to visit and negotiate. The event will be taking place at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center (SECEC).
